Long time DESTINY MMA Featherweight Champion Dustin Kimura makes his much anticipated debut in the UFC this Saturday in Las Vegas.  This debut has long been overdue, as Kimura has been the best fighter out of Hawaii not in the UFC for quite some time.  We are all very proud of Dustin as he has been a part of who we are in our organization since we began promoting events back in 2008.  He has helped DESTINY evolve and become the most exciting mma event in the islands over the years and we can't thank him enough.  Dustin shared in many 1st time event moments with our organization which is why we are truly blessed and honored to have had such a humble, loyal champion all these years.

EliteXC/Pride/KOTC veteran Charles "Kid Khaos" Bennett will be making his DESTINY MMA debut in a lightweight title match versus TUF Alumn Johnavan "Immortal Warrior" Vistante.  Despite his subpar record, Bennett has always been a favorite amongst fans with his outspoken interviews, high energy entrances, exciting fights, and back flips off the cage.  Never one to disappoint, Bennett always brings it and never looks at having fights go the distance. He has high light reel who's who resume of knock outs and slams and is one of the most unpredictable fighters to ever step foot in the cage.

His opponent from Hawaii, Johnavan Vistante is a young, hungry lion, that is a split mirror image of Bennett in nearly every way.  He brings the same excitement as Kid Khaos from the interviews, entrances and action inside the cage.  Like most fighters from Hawaii, Vistante is a beast in the stand up department and is always looking to keep the fight standing and KO his opponent.

This fight will definitely be a war and will have the fans at the Blaisdell Arena on Septemeber 8 on their feet.  No one expects this fight to go the full 5 rouds.

DESTINY:Fury III Saturday, June 16 @ the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall Ballroom. A full day of festivities and family fun in combination with the Big Boys MMA Hawaii Expo.

DESTINY:Past Present Future Weigh-ins will be held Thursday, Oct 20th @ D&B's Billiard Room 1st floor 6:30pm. Open to public. All is welcome to enjoy the staredowns & take pictures with the fighters. Ticket giveaways will be held for fans & food will be provided for fighters.

Kaleo 'Lights Out' Kwan will be forced to withdraw from his much anticipated match up vs Max 'Blessed' Holloway. 

Kwan hurt his ankle via heel hook from his fight in Australia on Sept 3rd. He kept his injury silent & tried his best to heal & train through it, but with now less than a month out from fight & ankle still bothering him, he had no choice but to withdraw.

Moving up from the undercard to replace Kwan will be 'Champion TV Show' Winner Herman Santiago. He defeated the very tough & fellow top 155er John Vistante Jr. in the finals of show.

Santiago has never tasted defeat @ 155lbs & his only career loss was when he moved up a weight class on short notice vs Bellator Vet & top Hawaii fighter Chris Cisneros. 

This will make for an intriguing matchup of styles that will be action packed both standing up or on the ground. Only 1 can be king of Hawaii @ 155lbs...both come in undefeated at that weight...only 1 will have their unblemished record @ 155lbs intact.  BE THERE OCT 21ST TO FIND OUT WHO WALKS AWAY WITH BELT!

Kaleo Kwan will face winner of this match once injury is fully healed.

Congratulations to our newest DESTINY MMA World Champion Dustin Kimura.  Dustin has been with our promotion since it's beginning back in 2008. We have watched him grow from a fighter rising through our amateur ranks & than turning pro & continuing that high level of performance. He was our 1st ever Amateur Featherweight Champion & has now become our 1st ever World Featherweight Champion. To top it off , he has never loss a fight as an amateur or pro & has finished all opponents via tko or submission except 2 in nearly 20 fights. We are proud of his hard work, loyalty & accomplishments & look forward to many more great fights from this young champion. UFC & Dana White need to keep an eye on this hot prospect.
